Site and Accommodation

The workshop will be held in the historical building of the Hungarian Academy of Science in the heart of Budapest.

 

Accommodation

There are a number of hotels of various categories in Budapest.

The information on the recommended hotels is attached.

Booking of rooms should be done directly to the hotels by fax or mail with copy to the Secretary of Organising Committee.

The following hotels are situated relatively close to the building of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, therefore the venue of the workshop can be easily accessible by public transport. As it appears from the list, you can choose the most appropriate one from several price categories. The prices shown below include breakfast and VAT. In every case, hotel reservation has to be done personally by the participants contacting the person indicated at the particular hotels by fax. Confirmation of the hotel reservation will be done in the same way. Though majority of the hotels accepts booking still in September, we kindly ask you to make your reservation preferably before 30 June 1999. It is very important and to be carefully observed that the indication of "FAO/IAEA Workshop" be referred to when making the reservation, because the reduced prices stated below can be vindicated only in such a case. In the hotels the generally used cards will be accepted for settling the account (please note: HOTEL MEDOSZ accept only cash).
