EXAMPLES OF PUBLICATIONS FROM THE SDS

Commission V.8 has established three subcommittees based on solubilities in gas/liquid, liquid/liqud and solid/liquid systems. Details on these divisions are given in the page on the [history of Commission V.8]. In volumes 1 to 65 of The Series, each contain an Introduction to the subject matter (gas/liq, liq/liq or solid/liq). These three introductions can be accessed from this page (see below) as PDF files, and in several cases as HTML files.

Volumes 1 to 65 of the SDS contain a table for interconversion of concentration units. This table is available only as a pdf file requiring Adobe's Acrobat Reader to view and print this table. This table can be accessed here [conversion table in pdf].

Examples of critical evaluations with accompanying compilations, as pdf files, for the systems carbon dioxide in heavy water, and for benzene in seawater are provided. The sample for the carbon dioxide-heavy water system was taken from pages 67 to 75 of Volume 62 of the SDS. Pages 67 to 70 are the critical evaluation, and pages 71 to 75 are the compilations of the researches published for this system. The sample for the benzene-seawater system was taken from pages 188 to 192 of Volume 37 of the SDS. Page 188 is the critical evaluation and the remaining pages are compilations taken from all available publications up to 1982.

These samples are provided only in pdf format which requires Adobe's Acrobat Reader for viewing and printing. Details on downloading this free software from Adobe can be found at other relevant sites.
